Wired Electrical Supports Homeless Charity, Street Angels in Leeds
At Wired Electrical, we’re always keen to support good causes in our community—and when it’s a local charity doing amazing work for vulnerable people, we’re all in.
Recently, we had the pleasure of helping out Homeless Street Angels, a brilliant Leeds-based charity based on Sheepscar Road. They provide hot meals, clothing, and essential support to those experiencing homelessness in our city.
This particular project came about when one of our clients spotted a plea for help on Facebook and kindly recommended us. The Street Angels were in need of an outdoor electrical socket to help clean their food trolleys and hot boxes—used to deliver much-needed meals to people on the streets. Once we heard what was needed, we didn’t hesitate to get involved.
We donated the socket and fitted it free of charge, making it that little bit easier for them to carry on doing what they do best. And as a lovely bonus, the Street Angels team kindly treated us to some delicious pork scratchings as a thank-you—our team certainly weren’t complaining!
It’s a small gesture from us, but hopefully a meaningful one for a team making a real difference every day.
